If you have RA, you probably think I’m crazy to put luscious and RA in the same phrase. And yet, there they are. Here’s why. One of my favorite artists and writers is Brian Andreas, who creates the Story People. Several months ago, I saw something he had written and it has stuck with me. Here it is:
I’m beginning to think peace is something we made up
to keep us from being satisfied with all this luscious chaos
So, my new RA diagnosis feels like I’ve been thrown into chaos. And sometimes I think chaos is what I need to shake up the “same old, same old.” Certainly describes how the last several months have been for me.
I hope you’ll join me for This Luscious RA voyage.

I am so happy to see your new blog! The stage that you are in with your recent RA diagnosis is a critical one on the journey with RA, and sharing your experiences will no doubt help others who have just been diagnosed themselves. Thanks you, and welcome to the RA blogosphere!

Again, thanks for inspiring me to start writing! I hope it helps others, because I know it’s already helping me to connect via Twitter and This Luscious RA.

I hate to say “welcome to the club,” because it’s not really a great club to belong to. But I will echo RA Guy with a welcome to the RA blogosphere. It is such an amazing, growing community! Good luck to you as you navigate the beginnings of RA.

Jodi – Yes you’re right. I’d rather not be in this “club.” On the other hand, I am so grateful for everyone’s support. Looking forward to staying in touch!

As everyone else said, “welcome”, and also thank you for giving us another great outlet to listen, learn, share and sometimes vent
