Wren,

I'm glad you found ginger to help you! I wish I had known about it way back when. I eventually had to take methotrexate through self-injections because I would wake up in the middle of the night the day after taking it and have to run to the toilet...my stomach could not handle it. Good luck with the meth. it really helped me! Robin

Wren,

I am grateful to say that my medication side effects seem pretty manageable so far. It must be so frustrating to want a medication help you feel better, only to find it makes you feel worse.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing you the best of luck with MTX. I'm one of those who just couldn't tolerate it (few stomach ills, but a truly crushing fatigue and general malaise). I wish I could; it really does seem to be one of the best DMARDs out there.

Ginger is one of the best foods/spices/nausea remedies going. Glad it seems to be working so nicely for you!
